Internet Gaming Links

Superhero Roleplaying Links
There are tons of superhero roleplaying resources on the internet. Many MU*s out there involve superhero roleplay, though to our knowledge, ours is the only one to use the "Hero System" of the game Champions. Below are just a few links to get you started:
  • Hero Games: The website of the Hero Games company, makers of Champions and other fantastic superhero roleplaying game products. Rumor has it that Hero Games is about to come out with a new edition (5th) of Champions, but so far the new book has not materialized.
  • Hero Machine: The Hero Machine is a nifty little Flash-based web system for designing the drawing of your favorite character, be he a superhero or a fanstasy hero! It's not finished yet, but it's already one of the coolest sites on the internet, especially for those of us who can't draw very well, but are good at coloring and designing!

MUSH-related links on the Web
There are lots of pages out there about MUSHes... we can't possibly list them all. Rather, we list a few that will point you to still others... the WWW has an endless number of MUSH-related resources. We list just a few general ones (from which you ought to be able to find lots of more specific ones). Have fun!
  • PennMUSH: This is the official home page of the server program that the CM runs under. The current version we're using is listed using the @version command inside the MUSH. Lots of good PennMUSH-related links stored here.
  • MUSHCode Archive: This site contains a bunch of softcode programs for use with MUSHes... be careful. A lot of these links seem to have died lately.
  • Javelin's Guide: Javelin's Guide for PennMUSH Gods explains how to set up and run the PennsMUSH server. This is an excellent instruction manual for any beginning admin, especially those who intend to run their own game.
  • The MUD Resource Collection: Many MU* toys, however most are designed specifically for MUDs... MUD interfaces are not exactly like MUSH, and occasionally you can run into some problems. However, there are lots of good resources on this page.
  • The MUD Connector: This site lists many MU*s (including the CM) and their addresses, as well as a little bit about them.
